SCHELL AT ROSEHILL

1 Robrick is a well-bred colt out of group1- winner Triscay and in the stable of Jack Denham. The two-year-old was tuned for today's debut with a solid trial placing at this track and has the rails alley. Kelly showed good early speed before taking a sit off the lead and proving too strong in the straight to score on debut here two weeks ago. Kelly is sure to be prominent again, while St Martin, another first-starter, won a recent Randwick trial.

ROBRICK 1, Kelly 2, St Martin 3.

2 The John Hawkes-trained Falaise resumed from a spell under lights at Canterbury last time out, thumping his rivals to win easily. That was just the second time Falaise had raced and he looks to have plenty of scope for more improvement. Ollie Vollie bolted in on debut, at Kembla Grange, before a second to the well-above-average Facing The Breeze and is fresh after more than a month without a run. Innings has had just three starts but is an honest performer, while Seek The Truth is also worth thought.

FALAISE 1, Ollie Vollie 2, Innings 3.

3 Evasion was second-up from a spell at this track a fortnight ago and, after looking the winner on straightening, he took until the last stride to put his head in front and beat Green Sun. Evasion is not facing an overly tough field here and the step up to the 2000metres should favour him. Flying Nikita had a good win at Warwick Farm two starts ago before being second at Randwick and should be thereabouts. Lord Of The Land wasn't disgraced when fifth at Flemington last time out and can be capable.

EVASION 1, Flying Nikita 2, Lord Of The Land 3.

4 Speedy sprinter The Hammer has been in great form since resuming from a spell for trainer Chris Waller and is poised for another win today. Victorious in his first two runs back from a year off, The Hammer has subsequently been second in two starts, at Canterbury and this track. The Hammer will be in the front division again and is the horse to beat. Purple Dane was heavily backed when resuming from a spell with a second to Global One at this track, and has the benefit of the inside gate today. Clevergaze has done well enough in his past two placings to be an each-way hope.

THE HAMMER 1, Purple Dane 2, Clevergaze 3.

5 Commands filly Enjoin hit her straps at her past two starts, winning in style at Scone, then at night at Canterbury. The Paul Perry-trained three-year-old has speed and is sure to be in the leading pack. Enjoin did plenty under pressure to win at Canterbury and can complete a hat-trick. Chatoyant was a handy second on debut to Banished and is an improver. Star Mystic, a beaten odds-on favourite last time, should not be underestimated.

ENJOIN 1, Chatoyant 2, Star Mystic 3.

6 Tactfully, an above-average mare resuming, will be sent out to make it four wins on the trot after winning three from three last preparation. This is Tactfully's toughest test to date but she has a light weight and was given an easy time in a recent barrier trial. Dress Suit has won two from two this campaign and is worth much thought again, while former Hong Kong horse Majestic Feeling won at big odds when resuming here last time out, there being no fluke about the performance. The resuming Appalachian is worth thought, too.

TACTFULLY 1, Dress Suit 2, Majestic Feeling 3.

7 Magic Marvo is back from a spell today and is a first-up winner. He is sure to relish what is expected to be a frantic front speed, and he trialled well enough in preparation for this to suggest he is set for a bold show. Viovode is another resuming that has trialled well and is also a first-up winner, so he is well worth consideration. Resistor scored well last time out and can give another sight.

MAGIC MARVO 1, Viovode 2, Resistor 3.

8 Form galloper Leading Bid is a strong finisher being aimed for a third consecutive win and will have the benefit of Darren Beadman up. Last time out at this track over this distance, Leading Bid wore down Ashkabar to win impressively. Command Decision has raced well in two runs back and is ready to peak, while Te Deum has a good record and is a real contender. Connotation and Top Of The Top have claims.

LEADING BID 1, Command Decision 2, Te Deum 3.

ONE TO WATCH

Best bet: Enjoin (Race 5).

Next best: Evasion (Race 3).

Best outsider: Magic Marvo (Race 7).
